17 November 2011 @ Bilgi University, Santral, 14:00 to 17:00

New Ways of Musical Connection was set up to start the Istanbul chapter of two international networks for audio and visuals, share.dj (a meeting point for audio and visual makers) and dorkbot (for sharing knowledge). In Tuna Pase's class at Bilgi University, we ran a beginner-level workshop for music makers who want to create their own visuals, focused on using audio to drive video loops.

Hasierehei, a VJ team from Leipzig, Germany, introduced the VJ program Resolume and a closer look at its surroundings. Vjunk showed examples of visualising music and Vidbeat introduced the VDMX software for Mac.

Line-up: Hannah & Rene (Hasierehei, Leipzig), Burcu Gunduz (Vjunk), Temel H. Kuru (Vidbeat).
